Patton's Moving and Storage

The Patton's Standard

Ten promises we make on every move, written down since 1912

Since 1912 we have done this one way, and we wrote it down so you can hold us to it. Ten promises, every move, every crew, every time.

1

Every move gets a survey

In-home or video, no exceptions, followed by a written estimate. We do not price a house we have not seen.

2

Employees, not day labor

Year-round staff, drug and alcohol screened at hire and randomly after.

3

Our own trucks, with our name on them

If our name is on the side, we answer for what happens in the back.

4

Independent since 1912

No van line, no franchise, no corporate parent. The person accountable for the job is in Winchester.

5

Valuation explained before signing, not after

Released value vs. full value protection, out loud, and we write down what was chosen.

6

A real address and a real warehouse

You can drive to it, walk through it, bring your clients.

7

Claims go to a named person

Not an 800 number — a claim form, an internal investigation, and a person whose name you know handling it start to finish.

8

Valuables stay with the customer

Jewelry, cash and important documents travel with them. We’d rather give up the revenue than the trust.

9

Booked means it is on the board

Deposit paid, job on the office calendar with crew and truck assigned, and the day's trucks capped so a full calendar means full.

10

If we can't do it right on your date, we say no

Nine times out of ten we'll hand you another reputable name ourselves.

Hold us to the standard

Every estimate starts with a survey and a written number. Book yours and see how the ten points show up on your move.
